The Four Pillars Spread

Four cards, one for each pillar of your chart. Every card is read against your Day Master element — the same card is not the same card for everyone.

Your birth date. Only the day pillar is used, so the time of day does not change this spread.

How this spread works

  • · Four positions, taken from the Four Pillars of your Saju chart: Year (roots), Month (drive), Day (your true self), Hour (inner world).
  • · Twenty-two Major Arcana cards, each assigned one of the five elements by its function in a reading. The Western four elements have no Wood, so there is no one-to-one match to convert — where our reading and the traditional attribution differ, we show both on the card.
  • · Every card is compared to your Day Master element. That relation — support, pressure, output, gain, or same — decides how the card reads for you.
  • · The draw is decided by your birth date and the date, not by chance. One draw per day, and the same link always shows the same cards.

Card names, their elements and how each one relates to your Day Master are free. The upright and reversed readings, the instruction for your element, and the element rationale come with the report.
